Yesterday, while driving up to the Santa Barbara project a sign caught my eye and redirected my travels to Montecito Library for their Garden and Cookbook Sale. It was fantastic!
I found so may good garden books to add to my collection.
Here are some of my finds-
One of my favorites is a book titled Succulent Plants Illustrated. The book is full of nicely detailed illustrations and most are drawn about two-thirds the natural size, so it gives the reader an idea of the actual size.
I also picked up a couple bonsai books. Someday, maybe when I retire or when the kids go away to college, I will have time to take up this hobby. Doesn't it sound so relaxing?
Not one, but three gardening encyclopedias! I'm not sure how current all the information is (probably won't try the pest management practices) but they're presented beautifully and full of all kinds of helpful information.
Have you ever looked for a four-leaf clover? Me too! Look what I found in the book below-
I guess it was my lucky day!
Thanks to Friends of Montecito Library for hosting such a fun event.
